Sir Gilbert departed this life 19 September 1517, buried at Whitchurch, being succeeded by his Sir Gilbert Talbot of Grafton, who 3 1 Henry sheriff of the county of Worcester and daughter and coheir to Sir William Pafton by Anne Beaufort, his wife, third daughter of Edmond, second Duke of Somerset ,grandson of John sburth ,son of K Edward III; and by her, two sons Humphrey and Walter, who both and four daughters, Margaret married Newport of Rushock Esq, Elizabeth to Sir John, Eleanor to Geoffrey Dudley Esq, and Mary ,Thomas Astley of Pattishul in Staffordshire, Esq., by her to Sir John Astley Bart .He married Elizabeth relict of Wintour by whom he no issue, and dying 22 October 1542, was interred Whitchurch in county of Salop.
