About Elena Purickienė
On 20 December 1926, during trade negotiations in Moscow, Purickis married Elena Skriabina, a Ukrainian lady of Eastern Orthodox faith born in 1900, in a civil ceremony.[73] The trade deal with the Soviet Union was concluded only in 1928.
Purickis was officially defrocked as a priest in 1929 per his earlier request.

Sources state that Elena moved abroad to France in 1937, however, it might have been later. Three years after the death of her husband in 1938 she sold a vacant lot owned by her husband on Vaižganto st in Kaunas to the family of Kazys Tallat-Keplša.

She is very likely to be from the noble Skriabin family of Moscow. Most notably, the composer Alexander Skriabin b 1871. His father, Nikolai Alexandrovich Skriabin, was also a Russian diplomat.
