Elijah and Anna are not buried at Somers, Connecticut; they are also not buried with John's brother Aaron and his family at Marlboro Vermont.

Elijah and Anna were from Somers Township, Tolland County, Connecticut. They were married in Somers, Tolland, CT. Sons James and Phinas are born in 1799 in Connecticut; son William is born Oct. 1797 in Connecticut. Sometimes before Elijah Jr. is born, his parents are in Canada (1809).

Elijah, Elijah Jr., and David are enumerated in 1840 at Cold Spring, Cattaraugus, New York with their families. Both Elijah Sr. and Jr. are enumerated on the same page.

Elijah Pease Sr. is enumerated with his sons, daughter and grandchildren in 1850 in Burlington Township, Kane County, IL and he states he is 81 years old born in CT. Anna, his wife, is still alive, age 77. Elijah may have fought in the War of 1812. The family moved between 1843-1845 from New York (probably near Cold Spring or Red House) to Kane County Illinois.

In the 1860 census, Saloma "Peas" is enumerated with husband Jim Peas living in Burlington Township, Kane, IL. Saloma is 55, states clearly she is born in Connecticut in 1805 (est.). Jim Peas is also born in CT and is age 61 born 1799. Andrew and William J are still living at home.
