Elizabeth Rachel Jackson was born on September 27, 1726. She was the daughter of William Jackson (Chief Bear Hart) and Dorcas Green, sister of Edward Sizemore whom she married in 1748 in North Carolina. Elizabeth was Part Sephardic Jew and Cherokee. She died as a young mother in 1760 in Virginia, at the age of 34.

Notes

Some stories claim that Elizabeth was the daughter of a Cherokee chief who had taken an English name when he married a white woman. This is a possibility, as many Sizemores carry a gene that indicates Indian ancestry. These stories also claim that Elizabeth was the mother of George All Sizemore. The available documents would indicate that she is his aunt, not his mother. Maria Edmonds-Zediker, 8/17/2010

Edward married Elizabeth Rachel Jackson in 1747 in ,Lunenburg, Virginia. Elizabeth was born in 1728. : Elizabeth Rachel Jackson, one of Edward Sizemore's wives, was Cherokee or half Cherokee.

Mother Dorcas Green(e) is thought to have been of Sephardic Jewish descent, and father William Jackson had the Cherokee chief's name of Bear Hart.

These parents are not possible - they are contemporaries of Elizabeth. Disconnected.
