Andrew's wife was the daughter of Sir Robert Stewart of Shanbothy and Durisdeer,

Elizabeth and Michael were married before 1396, apparently in minority.

They had at least three children:

Elizabeth Stewart was the daughter of Sir Robert Stewart. She married Sir William Douglas, 1st of Drumlanrig, son of James Douglas, 2nd Earl of Douglas. Her married name became Douglas.
