Frederick Clark

Birth, deaths and marriage have Frederick being born in 1845. Not possible. If you have a look at his marriage certificate to Sarah Jackson which I have attached you will see his parents are witnesses and the address is South Hackney. Frederick was still living with his parents at the time of his marriage to Sarah in 1872 and he definately isn't on the 1851 census. He appears for the first time on the 1861 census being born 1852.

Frederick had 2 children with his 2nd wife before they married in 1923. 2 sons born 1903 and 1905 Bertie and Arthur Albert John Clark. They also had a daughter who was born and died in 1909 - Ada Elizabeth. These children are not noted on his death certificate. Details on birth certificates of the children have the right name of the father, but she fabricated a marriage to a Frederick Clark in London, England in 1898. She was still a spinster when she married Frederick in 1923.

1902 Duke Street Dealer. Living with Elizabeth as his wife.

1903 census living at Duke Street, Auckland. Dealer by himself.

1908 living Keppell Street Grey Lynn Auckland. General dealer. Living with Elizabeth as his wife.

1914 Same address as above living with Elizabeth as his wife - Dealer. .

Elizabeth was on the census records as just Elizabeth until they married in 1923 and then she became Elizabeth Hannah which is her correct name.

1925 census 12 Baker Street. Dealer with Elizabeth Hannah and son Bertie.

1928 census living at 12 Baker Street Auckland. Occupation dealer with Elizabeth Hannah now his wife. There son Bertie also living at this address.

1931 census same as above.
