Richard Ripley says she was christened 31 March 1616 at Buxted (or Boxted), but parish records show Hanna Phillips, christened 31 March 1616 at St. Mary Whitechapel, Stepney, London, daughter of Christopher Phillips

Marriage 1 Joseph Morse b: 2 May 1613 in Redgrave, Suffolk, England Married: 1 Jul 1638 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts 1

(II) Joseph Morse, born in 1615, went from Watertown to Dedham, and married in 1638 Hannah Phillips. He lived some time at Dor chester, where his family remained while he was building a house at Medfield and com mencing the cultivation of his land. He died in 1654, before his place was in readiness for the removal of his family. The family re moved to Medfield in 1654, and in 1658 his widow married Thomas Boyden, she dying in 1676 at the home of her eldest daughter.

• Dorcas, born in 1645;
• Elizabeth, born in 1647 ;

6. PELEG2 LAWRENCE (JOHN1) was born January 10, 1646/47 in Watertown, MA, and died February 14, 1691/92 in Groton, MA. He married ELIZABETH MORSE December 22, 1668, daughter of JOSEPH MORSE and HANNAH PHILLIPS. She was born September 01, 1647 in Dedham, MA, and died June 12, 1715.

1. On 1 September 1638 Hannah, married Joseph Morse, at age 25, son of Samuel Morse and Elizabeth Jasper, in Dedham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.

2. On 3 November 1658 Hannah, married Thomas Boyden.
