awise was the daughter and coheir of Joscelin de Dinan and Sybilla Talbot.
She married Fulk "Brunin" Fitzwarin sometime around 1160.
On 6 Nov 1194, Hawise de Dinan names her husand as Fulk fitz Warine in a suit of mort d'ancestre.
In the year ending Michaelmas 1198, Hawise de Dinan was fined 80 merks that she might not be obliged to remarry. Now a widow, she renewed her claim upon Stanton soon after the accession of King John. In 1201, the Berkshire Pipe Roll, gives Sibil (her sister), widow of Hugh de Plugenai, and Hawise, mother of Fulk fitz Warine, as coparcerners in Lamburn. In 1204, Hawise de Dinan and her sister Sibil are apparently claiming, against Olver de Dinana, estates in Bokeland and Corfton in Somersetshire and at Hertilande in Devonshire.
Hawise and Fulk were the parents of Fulk Fitzwarin whom the legend of Robin Hood was inspired and a daughter named Eve who married Thomas de Londres
