About Henry Lovell, Lord of Castle Cary
Ralph Lovel, Lord of Castle of Cary. He married Maud, daughter of Henry de Newmarch (Neufmarche), but dying without issue, was succeeded by his brother Henry Lovel.
Henry Lovel died bef. 1199 and was succeeded by his son and heir Ralph.
Ralph died in 1207 without progeny and was succeeded by his brother Henry,
Henry died by 1218 and was succeeded by his son Richard.
Richard died in 1253 and was succeeded by his son Henry.
Henry held it until his death in 1262 when he was succeeded by his son Richard.
Richard died a year later and the lordship of the castle passed to his brother Henry.
Henry died in 1290 leaving a daughter Olivia (m. Hugh de Gournay) and his son and heir Hugh Lovel.
