He was baptized in Roxbury, MA Sept 21, 1738, the son of Robert Williams and Elizabeth (Stalham?/Stratton?) Williams. (The Rev. John Eliot in his records shows that Isaac was confirmed 21 Nov 1658 ("21.9M.1658" - BRr2, p.82). Isaac was the first child of Robert and Elizabeth to be born in New England.
His first wife, married about 1659, was Martha Park Williams, and his second wife, married Nov 13,1677, was Judith Hunt Cooper Williams.

Isaac headed the first school of Cambridge in 1706 After Martha died, Capt. Williams married Judith Cooper of Taunton in 1677. They had 2 sons (Ephriam & Peter) and 2 daughters (Sarah & Mary)

He died, Feb 11,1707/8, old style. In such cases, both years will be usually be seen on the stone. A very close inspection of his stone shows what could be a very small 8 to the right of the 1707 death year.
