MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 2 James E was born to Newton & Emeline (Blacker) Topliff, near Glen Elder, Ks. On Feb. 11,1897, he was married in Jewell Co, Ks, to Lizzie Bell Jordan. Jim & Lizzie spent most of the 52 yrs. of married life, at the beautiful farm home, 4 miles west of Jewell. Because of failing health, they moved into Jewell in 1944. Five children were born to this union - Lena, Georgia, Henry, Clarence & LaVerne. Jim was a farmer & rancher and loved every minute of it.
