About Janet Gray
Janet, described as "heiress of Aberdour" inherited the estate of Fowlis Easter from her father, Roger de Mortimer. She married Sir Andrew Gray of Broxmouth; their son, born in 1390, was the first Lord Gray. A Coat of Arms of the Mortimers is included in a memorial window in the church at Fowlis Easter.
