Johanna Christina was the 3rd wife of the very long-lived Daniel Roodt (fl 1725 - 1811). They married at Cape Town on 12 May 1793 when Johanna was 30 or 31, suggesting she might have made a second marriage herself (she appears to have married 3 times - a Jantzen/Jansen, Roodt and a Bruyns). Daniel would appear to have been about 67 at the time of the marriage. Daniel Roodt (Jnr) appears to have been one of the first children of this marriage, and Daniel (Snr)'s 13th child. Johanna was the daughter of Phillip Heeger and Anna Christina Piek.
