DAR shows John Allen (DAR Ancestor # 130881) (1739-1827) as son of John Allen (DAR Ancestor # A130882) (1710-1778) and his wife Agness. However, Rick Allen (below) explains that is not possible, as when Agness made out her will in 1790, she mentions no son John - probably because he was deceased.
