From an unidentified source: "<This> Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie and Kellie, son of the last, is mentioned in 1388. He married, first, a daughter of Borthwick de eodem, by whom he had William, who succeeded him in the Perthshire estates; he married, second, a daughter of Home de eodem, by whom he had Thomas, the first of the house of Kellie. (1)"
