Biography He was the son of Swedish immigrants. The birth records are a bit confusing because an Affadavit for Correction of a Record was filed by his father, but not until 1941, when he was already in his 30s. There are two previous birth records as well from Washington State. The middle name "Kristoffer" was also anglicized to "Christopher." College graduate
