• Son of Knut Jonsson (Aspenäs) and Katarina Bengtsdotter (Folkungaätten)

Was 1,91373 married to the Swedish National Council Finvid Finvidsson ( Frössviksätten ), who appears in the sources 1351-1388 and was previously married to a daughter of Gustav Arvidsson ( Sparre av Vik ).
• Ingeborg Magnusdotter [Aspen%C3%A4s%C3%A4tten], Was dead December 6, 1389. Tranås inherited in Säby sn in Norra Vedbo hd in Småland and exchanged land in the same hd. Was married to Magnus Karlsson (eagle foot), who appears 1355 –1362.

History

In 1340 he becomes Vicelagman in östergötlands Lagsaga. In a letter from 1351 he is mentioned as Privy Councilor. He was lawspeaker in Östergötland 1363, something that may have deprived him with Albert of the Mecklenburg Enthronement, since Nils Jonsson (Rickebyätten) 22 August 1364 called himself Östgötalagman.

On 6 February 1366 he is again lawspeaker in Östergötland, when he, according to known tasks, occurs for the last time in the annals. He probably died before 6 july 1366 when Bo Jonsson (Grip) was lawspeaker in Östergötland. Surely he was dead 1369.
