He married Margaret Gascoigne, daughter of Sir William Gascoigne Sir of Gawthorpe and Margaret Clarell. She was born ABT 1438 in Gowthorpe, Bishop Wilton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, and died 1514 in Gawthorpe, West Yorkshire, England.
