""Margaret Stewart, Lady of Galloway was born after 1366 and before about 1375.

Eldest daughter of King Robert the Third, and sister to King James the First.

She was the daughter of Robert III Stewart, King of Scotland and Annabel Drummond. She married Archibald Douglas, 4th Earl of Douglas, son of Archibald Douglas, 3rd Earl of Douglas and Joan Moray, before 1390.1

She died between 26 January 1450 and September 1456 at Thrieve Castle, Galloway, Scotland.2

She was buried at Collegiate Church of Lincluden, Dumfries, Dumfries-shire, Scotland.2

She was styled as Lady of Galloway.1
