Anne Dionne died at Saint-Jean on October 11 and was buried under the name Anne Sansoucy on October 12, 1728 at the age of 63. Two priests presided at the funeral, the pastors of Saint-Jean and Saint-François, Nicolas Boucher and Alexandre Cloutier.
Anne, daughter of Antoine and Catherine Ivory, was baptized Anne Diaume on August 3, 1665. She had been held at the baptismal font of Notre Dame de Québec by Jean Dionne dit Sansoucy, her grandfather and Anne Martin, wife of Jacques Rate and daughter of Abraham Martin.
By February 1, 1680, Anne was married to Bernard Lainé (exact date of marriage is unknown).
On February 1, 1680, there was a contract between Antoine Dionne and Bernard as follows:
"the parties of their good will and Bernard Laisné their in-law living with them together in their house in the said place to the said Laisné standing in for Anne Guionne, his wife, daughter of the said Guionne and Yvory, her father and mother...made together the agreement a contract which follows namely the said Antoine Guionne and Yvory promised and were obliged to feed, provide heat, shelter and maintain clothing according to their quality also the children who will come to them for four years from twenty five April last [their wedding date?] to end on the same day of the year 1683"
in compensation
"as a reward for the work of these services of their son- in-law and his wife during the said time given to them..their land and homestead consisting of three arpents of frontage on the Saint Lawrence River on the northern part of the said island with all the buildings which are on it...adjoining on one side Nicolas Paquin and on the other, Philippe Pasquier"
On March 31, 1680, Anne Dionne, wife of Bernard Lainé, was godmother to her sister Catherine Dionne.
The Lainés lived in the Dionne home until 1685. It was at Sainte Famille that their first four children were baptized. Bernard Lainé had thus lived in his father-in-law's home for a year longer than promised
On January 30, 1685, at the house of Joseph Elie Gauthier and Marguerite Moitie at Sainte Famille, Bernard bought their land situated in Saint Jean.
