About Noah Rogers
The parents of Noah Rogers were William and Ann Rogers who immigrated to America ca. 1635. They first settled in Wethersfield, CT, were early settlers of Southampton LI, NY ca. 1642 (the Southampton Historical Museum and Research Center is housed in the "Rogers Mansion" that was built by a later generation of Rogers descendents on their original homestead) ca. 1642, and they later were founding settlers of Huntington LI, NY. Their sons Noah and his John grew up in Huntington, but subsequently crossed LI Sound and were among the early settlers of Branford.
He inherited his brother's estate in Branford. On April 8, 1673, he married Elizabeth Taintor in Branford, New Haven Co., Conn.
- His will was written December 22, 1724 mentions seven children:
