About Penny Chenery
Helen Bates "Penny" Chenery (born January 27, 1922, died September 16, 2017) was an American sportswoman who bred and raced Secretariat, the 1973 winner of the Triple Crown.
Penny Chenery died on September 16, 2017 at her home in Boulder, Colorado from complications from a stroke. She was 95 years old.
