Richard Pysing, of East Myng

Richard Pysing of East Myng, Somerset, England (and Crewkerne, Somerset by 1563), was born in England circa 1525,and died in England in 1588. Margery Everedd was born in England circa1525.

He is the son of John and Elizabeth (Salmon) Pysing.

They had six children:

1. Elizabeth Pysing: She was unmarried in 1588.
2. Robert Pysing: He was probably born after 1551 and was heir in his father's will. He is possibly the Robert Pysing of Hawkchurch, Dorset, whose will was dated March 1, 1636/7, and proved November 13, 1638 (PCC 164 LEE).
3. Joane Peson. She was born in Crewkerne, county Somerset, England circa 1553, and died in Crewkerne in October, 1629.
4. John Pysing was born in Crewkerne about 1556, and died in Crewkerne in December, 1563. He died in childhood and was buried in Crewkerne on December 10, 1563.
5. Mary Pysing was born in Crewkerne about 1559. She married Thomas Labye in Crewkerne on June 22, 1583.
6. Agnes Pysing was baptized in Crewkerne on October 2, 1569, and died in Crewkerne in June, 1572. She died in early childhood and was buried in Crewkerne on June 25, 1572.

The will of Richard Pysing was dated April 13, 1588, and proved on June 25, 1588 (PCC 39 Rutland). It mentions Richard Everedd of Hawkchurch, Dorset, and Thomas; also "my house at Hawkchurch, Dorset". Witnesses were William Chubbe, Thomas Hull, and William Gregorye. Note: A William Chubb of Crewkerne came to New England in the 1630s.
