Ripsimia (also known as Hripsime) was an Armenian who married the Bulgarian Count Comita Nikola, probably governor of Sofia and had a son, tsar Samuil of Bulgaria.

Rypsimia (in Greek : 'Ριψίμη) is the wife commit Nikola and mother of Comitopuli - brothers David , Moses , Aaron and Samuel . Little is known about her biography. Her name is learned from the additions of Bishop Mikhail Devolski to the chronicle of Ioan Skilitsa . She died 993 years ago, dating from the famous Samuel inscription from the village of German , Prespansko, placed by Samuel in memory of his parents and his brother David at their grave.
It was named after the particularly popular Saint Ripsime in Armenia , who died martyred in 290 years. This fact serves as an argument for the thesis about the Armenian origin of the Ohrid dynasty.

Ashot died without any sons or heirs and his daughter was married to the Duke of Sofia Nicholas and mothered Tsar Samuel of Bulgaria.
