Roger la Zouche, Lord of Ashby

He was the son of Alan de la Zouche and Helen de Quency.1

He married Ela FitzMaurice, daughter of Stephen Longespée and Emeline de Ridelsford, circa 1266. He died circa 15 October 1285.

Sir Roger la Zouche married Ela Longespée, daughter of Stephen, 4th Earl of Salisbury, and Emmeline de Ridelisford, before 1267 in Northamptonshire, England.

Sir Roger died before 15 October 1285 at Ashby, Leicestershire.

In 1270, in the course of a lawsuit with John de Warenne Earl of Surrey,Roger and his father were violently assaulted by de Warenne before the Justices in Westminister Hall .

1285 shortly before 15 Oct 1285 Sir Roger la Zouche died.
