About Samuel Jenks

Biography

Samuel Jenks, son of Joseph Jenks and Elizabeth (Unknown) Jenks, was born about 1654, and died 20 Sep 1738 at age 84 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts Bay. He married Elizabeth Darling. There are no records extant giving the dates of her birth or death, but it is established that she died prior to 1709 because in that year Samuel married Mrs. Elizabeth Floyd, widow of Joseph Floyd, on May 5th, and she died June 6, 1757, in Malden, Massachusetts, at the age of 86. There is no evidence of any children born of the second marriage.
