Abraham Tower in list of 175 names was compiled from Boston Tea Party Chapter, Daughters of American Revolution; from the 1973 Boston Globe 200th Anniversary Boston Tea Party Special Section; and the book, Tea Leaves, published in 1884 in Boston by Francis S. Drake
Abraham Tower, Sergeant in the Massachusetts Militia. He was a private in Captain Job Cushing's company of Colonel John Greaton's Greaton-4 Massachusetts regiment; enlisting on May 22, 1775 and serving eight months until January 1776. His pension was granted on March 4, 1831.
He died in Cohasset, Norfolk, Massachusetts on September 26, 1832 and was buried in Cohasset Central Cemetery. He named his son Abraham as executor of his estate and left his homestead farm, warf, and store to him. His two daughters also received land from his estate.
