About Sir James Cunynghame of Milncraig, 2nd Baronet
Biographical Summary
"Sir James Cunynghame, Baronet [S. 1702], of Milncraig and Livingstone, 1st s. and h., suc. to the Baronetcy, 28 Jan. 1708, and had general service to his father Feb. and April 1708, and subsequently spec, service in the estate of Robertland. He was M.P. for Linlithgowshire, 1715-22. In 1733 he bought the estate of Roodlands, in the parish of Ayr. He d. unm. at Edinburgh, 1 and was bur. 5 Feb. 1747, in Greyfriars churchyard there."
