Biographical Summary
"Sir William Primrose, Baronet [S 1651] of Carrington, son and heir by 1st wife, born 14 January 1649, at Edinburgh; Clerk of Notaries, 1 November 1660; succeeded to the Baronetcy, 27 November 1679. He married, in or before 1677, Mary, 3rd daughter of Patrick Scott of Thirlestane, co. Selkirk. He died 23 September 1687, in his 39th year."
