According to Rudolf Haas as translated by Helen Medak:
"They lived either in Hamburg or in their Country Estate in Grande (?) Holstein. I was as a young man often guest in their house."
According to Peter Jansen, as told to Michael Jansen:-
She called all her family together, and told them what she was going to do, and then after they had left, gassed herself in her kitchen, rather than face deportation to Theresienstadt.
