13 Apr 1353: Letters patent of Edward, prince of Wales and earl of Chester, granting the keeping of the lands of Richard de Bulkele [Bulkeley], deceased, to John de Henxteworth [Hinxworth] until the full age of William Bulkele, son and heir of Richard, at no cost.[2]

1366: Chester Plea Roll. No. 69. 39-40 E. 3 m. 30. Cestria.-Thomas, son of Hamon de Asshelegh, Kt., sued William, son of Richard de Bulkylegh, for land in Tymplegh which Geoffrey de Dutton had given to Hamon, his son, and to the heirs of his body.[3]

18 Jun 1367: Letters patent from John de Scolehall, escheator in Cheshire: William, son of Richard de Bulkeley can take possession of his inheritance.[4]

1 Jan 1369: Indented lease for 20 years from William son of Richard de Bulkelegh [Bulkeley] to Warin de Croxton of his share of the mill called 'le Newemulne' [New Mill] on the river Dane (Davene), [Cheshire], with appurtenances and right of entry and exit. Croxton is to pay an annual rent of 26s 8d.[5]

1369: Chester Plea Roll. No. 72. 42-43 E. 3. m. 1. Cl'Sfria.-William, son of Richard de Bulkylegh, sued John de Radeclyf and Margaret, his wife, for a moiety of the manors of Clyfton and Chedle[6]

26 Mar 1371: GRANT in fee by Thomas le Belewe, priest, chaplain of Hertehull, and William de Bulkelegh, chaplain, to William de Bulkelegh of Otsworth and Alice his wife, of the Manor of BULKELECH and all their lands and tenements in BIKURTON, a certain piece of wood called le Holynhurst in the township of HALGHTON, and the rents and services of Richard de Elleamere, chaplain, and Richard de Prestelond, their free tenants, in NORBURY and PRESTELOND, all of which they have by gift and feoffment of the said William; to have and to hold to the said William and Alice and their heirs male, remainder to Alice, daughter of the said William and Alice and her heirs male, remainder to Margaret, daughter of the said William and Alice and her heirs male, remainder to the right heirs of the said William.

Letter of attorney by William son of Richard de Bulkylegh of Chedle to William de Bulkylegh of Chorlegh to deliver seisin of the manor of Tympurlegh to Philip Phippe according to his charter thereof. Tympur- legh, Saturday after St. Philip and St. James the Apostles, 45 Edward III.[9]

12 Nov 1372: A. 8811. Release by John Sauvage of Stanesby and Margaret his wife to William de Bulkelegh of Chedel of their right in a place of waste called 'Chedelgrove' in Chedel bounded as described. Witnesses:— Thomas de Felton, justice of Chester, Robert de Pares, chamberlain of Chester, Sir Lawrence de Dutton, sheriff of Chester, John de Scolagh, escheator of Chester, and other. Chedel, 12 November, 46 Edward III. Seal, a boar passant.[10]

5 Dec 1372: GRANT in fee by Richard de Bykerton to William de Bulkelegh of Oteworth and Alice his wife, of a messuage and all his lands and tenements in the township of BULKELEGH, lying in a certain place called le held, which he had by gift and grant of Robert son of William le knyth.[11]

1377-78: A. 9310. Release by William de Bulkylegh, parson of Chedel, and Henry de Bunbury, chaplain, to William de Bulkylegh of Chedel, of their right in land, &c. in Alpram, formerly belonging to William son of William de Bulkylegh of Alpram. Monday before St. Fabian and St. Sebastian, 1 Richard II. Seal and fragment of seal.[12]

8 Feb 1379: Chedle. A moiety of the manor, held by William de Bulkeley by service of one knight’s fee and another moiety, held by John Savage by the same service.[13]
