I have recently discovered that John West (Jack) Digges born 1866 Dubbo NSW is my maternal great grandfather, I have proof as my DNA matches his. He never raised my grandmother nor married my great grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Williams, instead it appears they or she gave Gertrude Ellen Williams away to Wilhelm Brandt and Elizabeth Blake.
