His great-grandson, a cousin of the above Alexander Seton on his wife's mother's side, the landowner Robert Dundas (died 1838), was knighted by royal resolution given 1807 1/8 in the Headquarters in Stralsund by King Gustav IV Adolf with adoption on the family Seton's name and coat of arms . He was introduced 1809 12/10 under family no. 2139 but closed his family branch 1838 23/4. The original naturalization letter from 1785 has been deposited in Riddarhuset since 2011. Died 1838-04-23 in England without heirs, so this family branch is considered the expiration. Married to a cousin of the Dundas family, but divorced her.
