Ther are several spellings of our name and to point out a few --SanFilippo-San Filippo-Sanfilippo-Sanfelippo San Felippo- much of the confusion came from my grandfather's entry into the USA through Ellis Island and the NonEnglish speaking family members--Other derivations from "rather old fashion doctors and carelessness.. There are several sources (authenticity not checked) of "even" some SanFilippo's from Spain , we are told.
