About the Trask surname

Elbridge Trask was one of the first white pioneer/settlers to the Willamette Valley in what is now the state of Oregon. He married Hannah Abell when they met during a wagon train trek westward. One of their daughters, Eudora, later married a part-Norwegian man by the name of William Martin Summers, SR. Their Grandson, Elmo Martin Summers, was my husband's paternal Grandfather.
