Rabbi Samuel Uri Shraga Weil

Also called Schmuel Yutkes, Rabbi of Burgau in 1580. Sons Jekoff and Ascher Lemle are so assumed by Werner Frank based on collateral evidence and intuition. At the very least these two sons are somehow connected to the Weil dynasty.

In the book on the Weils by Ernest Weill, there is identified a son Jacob, who is then the father of Uri Schraga Weil. This is in contradiction with Loewenstein who deems Uri Schraga, the son of Jona. One further issue is raised by the Loewenstein article wherein Rabbi Jona Weil is identified as the father of Rabbi Efraim Naftali Hirsch in contradiction with the lineage in Mishpachot Atikot b'Yisrael.
