Parents: 'Nicholas Baker of Hertfordshire, England (1568 - 1632) and Mary Hodgetts (1569 - 1661)
Married:
Thomas Nash, reported to have been born at Lancaster or Lancashire, England, was past middle age when he came to America. Previous to his migration, he fled with his family and other English Protestants to Holland. He was married to Marjery Baker of Hartfordshire, England. They afterward moved back home and later migrated to America landing at Boston, Massachusetts, July 20, 1637.
The Nash family received a sizable concession to induce them to settle in New Haven, Connecticut, for he was a gun smith, a much needed tradesman in those times.

~MY ANCESTOR~
Margery Baker married THOMAS NASH in England. She was the daughter of NICHOLAS & MARY (HODGETTS) BAKER of Bewdley, Worchestershire, England. (Note: This Nicholas Baker is a different person from the Rev. Nicholas Baker, minister at Scituate, Mass.) She immigrated to America with her husband, Thomas, and five children after spending some time in Holland. New Haven Records: "Old Sister Nash" asigned to sit in the 2d seat the women's section in the little crosse seats in the meeting house." She died before her husband and was probably buried in the New Haven Green where he was buried.
