SIdney Claude Nash eldest of 10 childtren born in 1902 and died in1989 aged 87. He was married to irene Walker born 1900 and died 1976., They had two sons, Sidney Valantine James Richard Nash born in 1925 and Tunney born in 1927 but who died at the tender age of 4 suddenly. Sidney remarried Margaret born 1920 and died 1998 and they had a son born 1948 who died of heart problems in 1990.
Sidney Nash had an illegitimate daughter Greta born 1935 and still lives in Durban. She has three daughters.
Sidney's father was George Ric hard Nash born 1876 and died in 1940 aged 64. He had cancer of the prostate. His mother was Anglo-Saxon born 1880 and died 1965 aged 95.
Sidney's grandfather was George Francis Nash and his grandmother was Annie. He was a son of William of Banbury born 1813 and died 1853 at Grahamstown aged 40 from Thysis (disease of miners) so Richard hales from the 1820 settlers in South AFRICA. William's wife was Elizabeth Ann.
Richard is therefore 4th generation and still alive at the age of 85, born on 25. 06. 1925 and lives in an Old Age home in Durbanville cape Town.
